Mechelle LaLanne directs the NCESD’s STEM education and an innovative program she developed to get STEM tools in the hands of NCW schoolchildren was recently featured as a case study by  Carolina Biological Supply Company.  Along with her love of science, the fact that her students will be entering such a STEM-focused adult world drives LaLanne to provide them with the high-quality STEM education they need.
