What is SCRIPT?
SCRIPT is a nationally recognized Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool (SCRIPT) to help districts prepare a custom strategic plan for the implementation of K-12 Computer Science education.
The SCRIPT tool is a framework to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan for their students.
Participating districts will leave the workshop with:
- A vision statement for CS in your district, a strategic plan that outlines clear, actionable, goals for 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.
- The CSforAll workshop sessions are grounded in best educational practices and the strategic planning process could be useful for other disciples as well.
- Connect with several community and industry regional partners that can support your CS education efforts.
