NCESD Director of Administrative Services Receives Statewide Award for Outstanding Service to K-12 Education
North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) Executive Director of Administrative Services, Trisha Schock, was awarded the John Jenft Outstanding Service to K-12 Education Award during the Washington Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) Annual Conference on May 5, 2022.
Schock joined the NCESD in 2014 as an External Business Manager. Over the years at the agency, she advanced to the role of Assistant Fiscal Director in 2017 and then to her current position as Executive Director of Administrative Services in 2018. Prior to her time at NCESD, Schock was the Director of Accounting for Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth, WA.
When receiving the award, the WASBO board commended Schock for not only serving as a leader and mentor in the North Central Washington region, but for serving as a valuable resource for school business leaders across Washington State and the nation.
“Trisha is knowledgeable, confident, patient, and inspirational,” said Dr. Michelle Price, NCESD Superintendent. “She anticipates challenges and barriers for the school districts we serve and finds a way to support them. We are blessed to work with her.”
The Johnt Jenft award is presented by the WASBO Board to any member who has provided “extended, significant service to WASBO and to the advancement of school business administration in Washington State and who is of good moral character and who has shown professional integrity throughout their career.”
Throughout her career, Schock has earned her Certified School Business Administrator designation and School Finance Officer certificate, was recognized as the 2021 Global Forum for Education Top 100 Visionaries in Education, and has served on numerous boards and committees.
