These are available for Pre-K, individual grade levels within K-5, individual grade levels within 6-8, and High School. Lessons for grades K – 8 are designed to take 30-40 minutes, and span an entire school year of 36 weeks. Elementary teachers who lack time to use all of the curriculum could select and use portions of it.
The High School Curriculum is designed to serve as a 16-week elective service learning course. Any high school teacher could select parts of it to incorporate into their discipline-specific lesson plans.
At each level, the Kindness in the Classroom© curriculum teaches these six kindness concepts:
- Respect
- Caring
- Inclusiveness
- Integrity
- Responsibility
- Courage
A Kindness Beyond the Classroom set includes eight lessons for each of the six kindness concepts and a Facilitator’s Guide.
