Available in the FREE digital platform EverFi from Everbaud and supported by Truth, Prescription Drug Safety: Know the Truth consists of eight lessons intended for grades 8 – 12.

Lesson titles are:

• The Basics
• Science of Addiction
• Understanding Prescriptions
• Safe Use
• Refusal Skills 
• Addiction, Treat, and Recovery
• Supporting Others
• Fentanyl – Fast and Fatal

Time requirements for each lesson are:

• Teacher-led instruction and discussion – 20 minutes
• Individual student activities – 20 – 25 minutes

Student worksheets can be:

• Accessed by students on the EverFi from Blackbaud platform
• Printed for students
• Uploaded to Google Classroom or another platform

Additional resources include:

• A fillable form Parent letter 
• A Glossary of terms for each lesson – consider allowing additional time for learning terms and definitions
• A Course Outline including learning objectives for each lesson

Lessons are aligned to:
