After eight years of dedicated service as SNC Director, Cathy Meuret will retire at the end of the 2024–2025 school year. We are excited to welcome Blanca Salgado as the next School Nurse Corps Director at NCESD.

NCESD was recently honored during a statewide Pre-ETS Lunch and Learn meeting hosted by DVR, for its exceptional work in delivering Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) in part of Region 1.

The North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) has announced an opening for Board Position Number 1. This position represents the Brewster, Grand Coulee Dam, Nespelem, Okanogan, Omak, Oroville, and Tonasket School Districts.

Recognizing the need for a centralized and accessible data tool, the nine Washington State Educational Service Districts (ESD) collaborated to compile, analyze, and visualize key financial data across these three major funding areas impacting districts across the state.

In honor of School Board Appreciation Month, we want to thank the North Central ESD Board of Directors for their service to our agency, school districts, educators, and students. Many of our board members have served for many years (some even decades) and provide the organization with a deep history of education in North Central Washington.
