Overview
This two-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their knowledge of how developmental stages impact students physically, emotionally, academically and socially. This course covers 2 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.
Objectives:
- Demonstrate knowledge of how developmental stages impact students physically, emotionally, academically and socially
- Identify risk factors that may impact student learning and development physically, emotionally, academically, and socially
- Identify strategies to assist in the development of student’s sense of social and community responsibility
