EarthGen STEM Seminar: The Story of Water

This session will provide an overview of the steps necessary to prepare payroll data for the first payroll of the next fiscal year. District staff will be given the opportunity to work independently on each of these steps with Information Service Center staff on-site to provide additional guidance as needed.

Paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study: Equity

This three-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their understanding of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, specifically including 4 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.

Cyber Meetup – April 2022

Join us for our monthly Cyber Meetup events! These events are designed for business, education, technology, and community partners to come together for collaborative learning and discussion on technology topics. Every event features a short presentation from a technology professional, discussion, and time for networking.

AESD EdTech Regional Educator Network

Collaborate with colleagues around the state to increase your instructional skills across remote, hybrid, or in-person learning settings. This network will connect educators across all roles and regions to share best practices around teaching and using educational technology to support learning for students in all learning environments and content areas.

Careers After School – Fish & Wildlife (Chelan County PUD)

The purpose of Careers After School™ (CAS) is to help students and their support networks discover occupations and training pathways through enriching career-connected learning events held on-site at local businesses. During CAS business and industry partners provide valuable information, hands-on activities and connections to better equip our youth as they make plans for the future.

Participants will deepen their understanding of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, specifically including 4 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.

The Heart of Early Learning – Early Learning Connection

This Early Learning Connection event will explore social emotional learning and the connection to play. Participants will engage in discussion about how children in early learning programs are connecting with peers and adults as well as identifying supports in programs for children to make emotional connections.

Cannabis (THC) Vaping 101

NCESD has partnered with the Washington Poison Center to offer this event for district/school colleagues, community partners, and parents to learn about what cannabis is and how it works. Participants will also learn about cannabis' legal status, different modes of use, and current evidence on therapeutic and harmful effects.
