Paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study: Using & Collecting Data

This hour professional learning opportunity will prepare paraeducators within their district to understand and use data collection effectively for assessment and instruction.
The purpose of Careers After Schoolâ„¢ (CAS) is to help students and their support networks discover occupations and training pathways through enriching career-connected learning events held on-site at local businesses. During CAS business and industry partners provide valuable information, hands-on activities and connections to better equip our youth as they make plans for the future.
This three-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their understanding of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, specifically including 3 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.
The Speech Language Pathologist regional cohort will include the topics of bilingual assessment, motor planning and the SLP, AAC, and Roundtable.
This four-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their understanding of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, specifically including 4 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.
This session will provide an overview of the steps necessary to prepare payroll data for the first payroll of the next fiscal year. District staff will be given the opportunity to work independently on each of these steps with Information Service Center staff on-site to provide additional guidance as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues around the state to increase your instructional skills across remote, hybrid, or in-person learning settings. This network will connect educators across all roles and regions to share best practices around teaching and using educational technology to support learning for students in all learning environments and content areas.

Young people are invited to attend this virtual event to connect with regional employers from Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan, and Grant counties who are actively hiring youth.
