Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Level 1 Training

This intensive 13-hour interactive workshop is designed to teach educational and caregiver teams the theory and protocol for the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), an evidence-based practice based on Applied Behavior Analysis, typical language development, and B.F. Skinner’s Verbal Behavior.

This PLC is designed for principals and school leaders in the various stages of GLAD ® implementation. There will be time to network with other schools in the region and learn from each other.

Threat Assessment Training, Level 1: A brief review of supportive research and the best practice prescriptive recommendations for assessment and management This free training gives an overview Level 1 Threat Assessments, including the application of threat assessment concepts and research in a site-based protocol called a Level 1.

FCS01 Introduction to Identity and Cultural Diversity

This four-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their understanding of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, specifically Cultural Identity and Diversity.
