Lost at School Book Study

This is an asynchronous student support book study in collaboration with the MASH Program with Dr. Ross Greene's book "Lost at School."

Academic Focus – Data Collection and Progress Monitoring

In this session, participants will learn about the purpose of taking data; establishing baselines; diagnostic assessment; identifying instructional level; finding the right progress monitoring tool; determining goals, aimlines, and rates of improvement; group/Individual examples and practice; and, progress monitoring and analysis.

Behavior Focus – Data Collection and Progress Monitoring

In this session, participants will learn the brief overview of ABCs / Behavior functions; purpose of taking data; types of data collection; determining which method to use; building a tailored data collection tool; case studies and practice; and, progress monitoring and analysis

2022 STEM Summit (In Person)

The STEM Summit provides professional learning opportunities for teachers and educational staff members in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics taught by experts and specialists in their fields.

Cyber Meetup – August 2022

Join us for our monthly Cyber Meetup events! These events are designed for business, education, technology, and community partners to come together for collaborative learning and discussion on technology topics. Every event features a short presentation from a technology professional, discussion, and time for networking.

Translating for Bilingual Special Education Meetings

This event will cover how to conduct effective special education meetings when an interpreter is involved. These tips are based on input from experienced special education interpreters and from parents. There will be time to reflect on common challenges and cultural awareness. This event is for both special educators and interpreters.

FCS10 Positive and Safe Learning Environments

This three-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will Identify equitable and inclusive strategies that can be used to support a positive and safe learning environment including de-escalation strategies.

Classroom Management/Tiered Behavior Supports

This session will provide hands-on practice with developing class-wide systems, routines, and prevention strategies that build efficient classroom management systems.

FCS03 Technology Basics

This 2 hour professional learning opportunity will prepare paraeducators within their district to understand and use technology effectively for communication and instruction.
