About the Position:

The Wilson Creek School District is seeking an excellent educational leader to serve as Superintendent/Principal beginning July 1, 2025. The new superintendent/principal should be a strong, communicative, and ethical leader who understands the unique challenges of rural education, fosters a positive and collaborative school culture, and demonstrates a clear vision for student success. They should be committed to community involvement, transparency, and long-term district growth while making informed, student-centered decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Prior successful experience as a teacher
  • Prior successful experience as a principal or building administrator
  • Principal credential required or ability to obtain
  • Prior experience in a district of similar size and demographics
  • Superintendent or central office experience preferred
  • Superintendent credential or ability to obtain preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $125,000 – $135,000 based on experience and expertise
  • 260-day contract
  • 222 work days
  • 24 vacation days
  • 14 holidays
  • Medical, Dental, Vision through SEBB
  • Retirement through Department of Retirement
