Region Welcomes 13 New Superintendents to School Districts in North Central Washington
Of the 29 public school districts within the North Central Washington region, 13 districts are welcoming a new Superintendent for the 2022-23 school year.
North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) hosted an orientation meeting for all incoming Superintendents on August 11. NCESD will continue to provide support for new superintendents across the region by facilitating collaborative sessions focused on instructional leadership and business operations, said Dr. Michelle Price, Superintendent of NCESD.
“A school district is a complex organization that operates as a learning institution and as a business,” she added. “The NCESD is dedicated to walking alongside regional districts to provide them the support they need, and that includes being a resource for new Superintendents.”
The NCESD is excited to welcome the incoming Superintendents, many who have previously worked in the region and some who are brand new to the region.
