Our mission for the 2024 STEM Summit is to empower and inspire teachers and educational leaders to promote and advance STEM education. We aim to provide a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge techniques.
You’re invited to join us Monday, August 19 to Wednesday, August 21 for the 2024 STEM Summit at the Wenatchee Convention Center! The STEM Summit provides professional learning opportunities for teachers and educational staff members in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics taught by experts and specialists in their fields.
We are accepting sponsors and vendors, and accepting submissions for presentations. See the respective “tabs” on this page to learn more.

Registration is open for the 2024 STEM Summit! As always, registration is free for educators in districts who are part of the NCESD STEM/Teaching & Learning Cooperative (and $500 for others). pdEnroller will automatically remove the cost of the event when you sign in under your account. Dr. Jennifer Bay Williams
Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Accreditation, University of Louisville
Dr. Bay-Williams is an internationally respected mathematics educator. She is a prolific author and popular speaker on topics related to effective mathematics teaching. Her work has focused on ways to ensure every student understands mathematics and develops a positive mathematics identity (i.e., feels they can do math!). Her most recent work has focused on fluency in mathematics, communicating that it is more than learning facts and algorithms, but is about being able to reason and choose appropriate strategies. Her books on fluency and on mathematics coaching are best sellers, as is her book Elementary and Middle School Mathematics: Teaching Developmentally.
Dr. Catlin Tucker
Educator, International Trainer, Keynote Speaker, and Bestselling Author
Dr. Catlin R. Tucker is a best-selling author, keynote speaker, international trainer, and professor in the Masters in the Arts of Teaching Program at Pepperdine University. She taught for 16 years in Sonoma County, where she was named Teacher of the Year in 2010.
Catlin has written a series of books on blended learning including, The Shift to Student-led, The Complete Guide to Blended Learning, UDL and Blended Learning: Thriving in Flexible Learning Landscapes, Balance With Blended Learning, Blended Learning In Action, Power Up Blended Learning, and Blended Learning In Grades 4-12. In addition to her books on blended learning, Catlin writes an internationally-ranked blog and hosts a podcast called The Balance.

Tana Peterman
Senior Program Officer,
Washington STEM
Tana Peterman is a Senior Program Officer with Washington STEM, where she leads the organization’s K-12 portfolio. She has led several cross-sector, multi-region, and statewide collaborative projects to improve STEM education for Washington students. Her work focuses on enacting systems and practices in the K-12 system that empower young people through STEM, and is designed to enable warm transitions between early learning education, K-12, and postsecondary pathways.
